Last weekend we visited one of my favorites museums the Textielmuseum in Tilburg. The exhibitions are always great and I very much like the TextielLab where you can see all the machines at work. Student and creative people can use the machines for their ideas.
After this we visited the Museum De Pont which is close to TextielMuseum. I heard a lot about the museum but never had the opportunity - till now. It's a very nice and bright museum with contemporary art.

Reopening Rijksmuseum Amsterdam - what a colour explosion

Today the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam reopened after 10 years of renovation. I hope I can visit it very soon and see it all by myself.

Van Cleef & Arpels - L'art de la haute joaillerie

I visited the exhibition from Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris (Les arts décoratifs). You can see more than 500 pieces that have perpetuated the renown of Van Cleef & Arpels since 1906. These prestigious creations are completed with archive documents and drawings.

You can find here (virtual tour of the workshops at Van Cleef & Arpels) how these jewels are fabricated nowadays at Van Cleef & Arpels. It gives a good impression of the different stages.
